Decoration of the monastery door frame in the Tibetan style

On her last visit to O Sel Ling, Lama Zopa Rinpoche gave advice on how to decorate the frame of the main door of the Monastery in the traditional Tibetan style and the design of an altar for the Gompa.

The artist in charge of this magnificent project is Peter Griffin, one of the best artists of the FPMT.

Peter met Lama Zopa Rinpoche many years ago in India:

“As soon as I met Rinpoche, that encounter became my complete connection to the Dharma. Rinpoche was teaching me the Dharma through art”

Once this project is completed, the monastery will be able to host a committed community of nuns who will dedicate themselves to the study and practice of Dharma according to the advice of Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, for the benefit of all beings.
