Eventually, through Buddhist practice, one can overcome the death.\nBiography\nRobina Courtin (1944-Melbourne) received a Catholic education and in her youth was interested in becoming a Carmelite nun.\nShe lived in London during the 1960s. She became a feminist activist and activist for prisoners’ rights in the early 1970s. After living in New York, she returned to Melbourne, Australia.\nIn 1976 she attended a Buddhist course lead by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa in Queensland, which was a life changing experience.\nIn 1978 she was ordained as Tibetan Buddhist nun in the Gelugpa tradition at the Tushita Dharamsala center, working full time ever since for her teachers Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa.
